Canon SD300- Flash not working??

I have this camera for the last 10 months and was working flawlessly. 2 weeks ago flash suddenly stopped working, all other functions are still working. Does anyone know how to fix this problem???

The right arrow with the flash sign cycles though 6 flash settings. Press it repeatedly to the setting you like (other than OFF) and it should work.
Check pg. 64 of the Camera User Guide for a detailed description.
Set the camera in one of the shooting modes listed there.
Be sure the battery pack is fully charged.

If it still does not fire, a malfunction may exist.
