These are from opening day (a little late I know )
Lake County (Ohio) Captains, Cleveland Indians Single A minor league team vs the Lexington Legends (not sure who they are affiliated with).
Theya re the best I could do with limited lens options and far outfield seats. I could have gotten closer, but I had my 4 year old with me.
Enjoy!

I see at least 4 empty seats right there in #1;)

Yea, it was cold, and the crowd was thin... had I gone just to take pictures I would have been in one of those close up empty seats.
The realities of having a 4 year old, and no other adult, can be limiting. I was not there to take pictures, I was there to see a game with the little one.
Remember - unless you are a journalist, the first priority is to experience a moment, then capture it. It's about being there, and secondly getting a good picture. Besides tickets are only $7 bucks... I'll go back alone and (try to) get the killer shot.
Here is the 4 year old who "ruined" the photo op at the game (she is obviously quite used to the camera)

And I am in there also...see me?!?!

Lexington is the Astros, Roger Clemens son is playing with them again this year (Koby). Actually that could be him getting nailed at 2nd...not sure. Matty is catching in the first photo, I get to LC once in awhile. Nice park to shoot..

thanks, yea he was playing that night (clemence).
It is a very nice park, designed by the same firm that did the big league park (jacob's field) just a few miles down the street.
Of course it bunkrupted the city that built it... but that is another story.
