You definitely need to get rechargables. Two sets and a charger.

I use 2100mAh Ni-Mh im my A80, i use the TFT screen only and i use a 256MB memory card, i can fill the card twice (around 300 shots) including some with the flash and the batteries are still going. As a rule i charge them every 2 uses, if this buggers them up whats 5 quid for a new set.

Yes, I also use 2100mha batteries, man they last a long time on my A80. Buy two sets to be safe.

Pick up a 1-hour NiMH charger too. Don't get stuck wih an old 15-hour one.

Lenmar is a good brand.

If you have a Fry's near you, they sometimes have deals where you get them for $1 a piece.

If you don't have a Fry's near you, check out www.fatwallet.com/forums and search for batteries. There are some websites where you can get generic for about $1 a battery.
