I have been asked to shoot a wedding at the Bristol Rennaissance Fair tomorrow morning as a favor. Long story short: no pay, but doing it as a favor so no pressure, but this could be one of the most unique weddings that I will likely shoot this year.
For those of you not in the know, the Bristol ren fair is a medieval fair where everyone dresses up in period garb and costumes from the early 1600s. The site is like a movie set with permenant structures built to look like a European village in that timeline. The couple will be in period costumes, as well as the entire wedding party, the officiants etc. I am only shooting for about two hours aand then putting the pics on a CD for the couple.
I am really using this as a marketing tool to generate positive buzz and to get some unique shots for my portfolio. I will post some shots after this weekend when i get a chance!
