:)Hi all, just returned from a trip using my new XTI for the first time. These pics are from a small canyon in Georgia. Let me know what you think. Where could there be improvement, etc. Used a polarizer and a tripod with a 70-200 f/4 lens. Must say I used a tripod from hell, one of those package deals from another order, was ready to toss it into the canyon. Going to buy a new one this week. PS: any suggestions? Thanks in advance, JohnnyV:) http://s204.photobucket.com/albums/bb229/JohnnyV_07/?action=view¤t=072507139.jpg

Could I suggest you post the photo's direct into the thread instead of links. I clicked the first link (I dont normally bother) and it took a while to open. I know others will come into your thread then leave without looking just becuase they have to open another page.

i think they look good. but maybe not soom up so close to the rocks so we can see all of where you were at. like a landscape. not just the coloration of the rocks. just my opinion though.

Hi shannyD, Iknow what you mean about the close-ups, my wife had the pleasure of using our 17-40 while I had the 70-200. Will post some of the other shots when I can figure what I am doing wrong and not post links. They are a pain. Thanks again, JohnnyV
