Please don't take offence, but I don't like the image at all. I'm sure the original is fine, but the PP is bad. Sorry.

...just curious, why does the pp not appeal to you? Does it appear cheap? Does it not compliment the composition to your eyes?

just doesn't seem to add anything to the image. kind of distracting. like looking through a frosted piece of glass. nothing in the image seems to call for this effect. doesnt bring the viewers eye to anything specific...just seems to overall detract from the image.

maybe a little vignette on the original, and boost some shadows.

I agree. The PP'ing distracts away from what we should really be seeing.....a cute kid. There's really no rhyme or reason to the effect.
