Question about PS CS Actions

I'm trying to run gmitchel's sharpening actions toolkit, but I'm having a
problem.

I dragged both the color and monochrome atn files to the actions palette.

I had a jpg loaded and I executed the color sharpening atn on that file by
clicking on the play recording icon on the actions palette.

I finished with the file and loaded another, but now PS won't let me execute
the play recording button anymore.

Can anyone explain to me why this is happening and how I can get the
sharpening atn play action icon working again?

What do you mean by the "play recording" button. The play and the record buttons are two separate icons. If you're hitting the record button instead of the play button, then that might explain your problem. The play button is the one that looks like the arrow head. The record button is the red circle.

One other thing came to mind. I'm assuming that you are selecting and hightlighting the action before you hit the play button, right?
