i think its down? 2 points? when i am in M mode and indoors in my apt with the lights on.
its is all the way to the left..
how can i make the exposure go back to the middle?
becuz all the pics become really really dark, unless i use the flash, but my room is kinda bright..
i did try to changing my iso/av/ss

You have an exposure indicator at the bottom of the viewfinder. When you change the shutter time or aperture, there is a little arrow that will move to the right or left, showing your exposure. When the arrow is in the middle, your camera thinks you have a "neutral" exposure. Adjust the arrow to the left and you will underexpose. Adjust the arrow to the right and you will overexpose.
The special thing with the M mode is that you must always look at the exposure indicator and decide where you want the arrow, and how to balance between shutter time or aperture.

I think it wants to be down a lot more than 2 points. I also think your apt is a lot less bright than you think (you can't judge it with your eyes, they accomodate quickly) and if it were physically possible the meter needle would be down 6 points or more. Make bigger adjustments to aperture, speed and ISO.

Try reading the camera user guide. Also try meatering in AUTO then switch back to M and adjust from the setting you got in AUTO.
