Tokyo shots

Hi,

I am new here , I started Photography about 1 year ans I am interested exclusively by taking people in city and street.

I mix B&W and colours without any pb , I know it is quite weird :lol:, but it depends on subject and atmosphere.

For my first post it s only B&W shots from Tokyo ;)

I think the first shot is very good. I really like the composition with the horizontal lines and the people in vertical. The fact that the girl appears to be alone against a coming crowd also makes it very dramatic. Well done.

I like the composition and the use of strong contrast (b&w, very little grays). However, one critique I would make is that it is too dark, and some of the details are lost. I love the first picture, btw.

It is true I lost a lot of details and usually I do not do such kind of extrem B&W, but I wanted to underline the fact that these salary man in front of the girl are all same, so I don't really want to have details on their face or clothe ;)

I love the first one. There's something about it that really draws me to it. I really think the over-contrasted look goes well with that photo.

I think the first shots an amazing shot. Especially how she's the only school girl walking against a crowd of businessmen.
