Just a few shots from the ESPN2 Friday Night Fight's card the other night. A few decent shots, pretty good lighting at the show, a bit low to the ring, but bright. Comments and critiques very welcome...

Truly stunning as always! "Crushing Jab" is awesome. I look forward to seeing posts from you and Dwight.

This may be a hard to answer question but I was wondering how much (on average) do you crop an image? "Mask of Blood" looks like it cropped a bit more than the others.

Are you handholding the camera under the rope on "On the Chin"?

Thanks in advance, I'm trying to pick up all I can without someone to learn from in person.

There is an ESPN2 event in my area Sep 7 and I'm trying to figure out a way to get ringside.

Top shelf as always....

I just watched this fight this evening on my Tivo...I even looked for your hat, but didnt notice it...

You pictures are just amazing...Wish I had decent lights at the fights here in town, but then I would be even more depressed cuz then I wouldn't have an excuse for my crappy pictures....LOL

Nice work, Ed. Enjoyed working next to you and hope we get to do it again before too long.

Boy, that Berto fight was brutal wasn't it? I was unpacking my gear on Saturday and had to clean lots of blood off my lenses. Zach, who was next to me, definitely had his shirt ruined by spatter.

I can't get over how aggressive and relentless Berto was. After several years of shooting mostly regional fighters, and hearing their promoters talk about them as potential champs, it was good to get that perspective. I feel like I now have an idea of what it takes. I can honestly say I've never seen a fighter as talented as Berto in person. That's just a whole new level for me.

Anyhow, good to see you. Really nice work. That lead image rocks.

Good stuff, Ed. I concur w/Foley, Berto is a special fighter [followed him since the 2004 trials].

Hard to fault him for the knockdown; Rivera switched southpaw & landed a sneaky uppercut.

How do you feel Berto looked walking back to his corner?

Thanks for the comments, Jeff pleasure meeting you as well.

Finito, Berto was shook, and I thought he looked a bit shaky on his legs going back to the corner as well. The next round he kept shaking his leg and banging his toe on the ground and I thought he was still a bit shaky, actually turns out he sprained his ankle when he was knocked down...With that said, I thought he was shook, but never really in danger of being stopped...

didn't realize he hurt the ankle. berto pressed the remainder of that fight.

Saw 'em on FWI while I was uploading ... you're usual very impressive work!

P.S. I have been asked to re-upload so I hope to do that tonight.
