A very interesting place, and some interesting shots of it as well.
This is the biggest swimming pool I have ever seen.

Where is is, and what was its purpose?

Those are awesome pictures can you post of few of them in color. Where is this pool located?
That would be a cool place to rebuild.
Thanks

Really nice series. I love #1. Beautifully done, and very good, subtle use of HDR. Nice work.

I'd like to see #5 with some hyperfocal distance action - get it entirely in focus. Great captures.

It looks like a swimming pool in the neighborhood where my parents live. It had 10+ years of dead leaves and scum floating in it. My brother and I used to play in the building when we were younger. The pool has since been renovated though. :)

Nice photos!

These are some cool shots.. Like someone else stated, this looks like a great location for some kinda horror flick..

I really like #5... the ladder really clicks for ya that it's a pool and it's not normal..

This pool was built in 1938 and was then the largest open-air pool in Europe. It's not protected so it could be demolished any day if they want to. Next to it is an beach so that's the main reason this pool has been closed.

The pool is located a few miles north of Brussels, Belgium
