not long agop someone posted their first attempts at using their new MkII.The pics were from a bird sanctuary apparently-some of the better shots i've ever seen-some 1st atempt! :D
anyway-does anyone know where that post (or those pics) are? I searched for awhile but found nuthin

Oops,i meant to say-most were of owls,the best one being an owl in flight

the 'mk2' fooled me-i was searching for mkII/mk II :?
The reason i wanted to see them again(besides they are awsome pics!) was to see examples of what mk II/EF70-200 IS focus tracking speed was like.
I can't really afford a mk II OR that lens but just curious as to the limits of the technology.
My 300D with cheap consumer zooms really has trouble tracking moving subjects :cry:

Here's a pic I just took of a burrowing owl that was near a baseball field. I used a digital rebel with the kit 18-55mm lens.....I got suprisingly close.
