Photography Classes/Clubs Near Raleigh?

I live in Cary, NC and really want to find a photography club, or some classes to take around here. We are pretty close to Raleigh. Anyone from this area, or familiar with any clubs, etc. nearby? TIA for your help. I know if I take some classes, or join a club, it gives me a good excuse for getting "out there" and can meet some other people with similar interests (not that I don't value you all, but I guess it's good to have some non-vitual friends as well, lol). Thanks.

Durham Arts Council usually has some pretty good classes but this fall the offerings are pretty pathetic. Look when their winter schedule comes out. Chapel Hill has a very active photography club. Not exactly close, but not horrible. I can't imagine though that there isn't something closer for you. Call Peace Camera in Raleigh, they will probably have ideas on alternatives.

Sorry I haven't responded. I'm on the Noink boards these days. I never did find a class. I'm actually now working for a photo franchise shooting youth sporting stuff. I have two shoots this weekend if Hanna doesn't rear her ugly head and mess things up.
