Every close up that I take with my Cannon A80 is over saturated. I use the flash on Auto and the faces look to red. Any suggestions. Also how do I post a picture?

Are you using "vivid" mode? That mode saturates the colours.
Is this only on flash pictures? Try using aperture control and close down the aperture.
You could also use "neutral" mode too. That mode desaturates the colours.
Even so, the photos look pretty good (far from horrible.)

Stopbath I tried the neutral mode and it seems to be a bit better. I guess it is all trial and error. I am really just a beginner. Also I get alot of noise in close ups. It looks like I have to exfoliate my skin.

You mentioned noise. Do you know what ISO speed you are using? I believe the A70 allows you to set the ISO using the func. button.
On point and shoot cameras the higher ISO speeds have bad noise.

Hi Vince,
My speed is set to 50. So I am not sure what is causing the 'noise'

I always find noise most noticable in darker photos, try taking a night shot and see how much 'grain' there is. If you are still concerned about noise in normal photos do the following:
1. Find a picture where it is noticable.
2. Don't shrink the photo, instead crop a small section (800 pixels square or so) where the noise is prevalent.
3. Post that crop to the forum.
