Most popular bridal magazines and websites?

Not for advertising but to see what brides are looking at and what their expectations may be.


Reading thru tim's (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=242640) recommend book list, specifically The Best of Wedding Photojournalism by Bill Hurter, it talks about how brides go thru these things and usually build expectations of what they want to see in their pics/albums. The book doesn't get too specific though.


So what do you think are the most popular?

I would say the knot. Personally I don't care for the site, too many vendors, but perhaps it has good articles or what not. I think most brides have heard of the knot, and probably think that is THE place to check out. Then maybe wedding channel next (although I think its really the same company).

Knotties are price shoppers as are many of the referrals you get from internet sites. I'm dropping my online ads for the most part as they aren't really good for bookings. You get a lot of tire kickers, but few bookings. Google and bridal shows are better ways to invest your advertising dollar.
