with myself, I was so focused on following the rules to minimize reflections, that I failed to see the distractions in the background...UGH!!! Used a "midnight sepia" process on this. Other than the lousy background, what do you think?

personally, I like it. The distractions aren't horrible to me. The only thing I can see being a distraction are the dresses. The lamp post isn't too horrible. The midnight sepia works well with this shot

This image has far too great a dynamic range - it shows up as a great pileup of pixels on the left boundary of the histogram, meaning that a vast amount of shadow detail has been lost.
Also, the image does not appear sharp, but that is probably due to the extremely low resolution (image size in pixels). So, we cannot tell if it's in focus or not, because anything above 100% mag. is pixellated.
You may want to consider other options in posting your image to get closer to the maximum allowable size.
Also, if you are concerned about sharpness, you will find some tips here:

BTW, it's a great looking car!

It's small, but I'm liking it.

Thanks for the comments and info Bob, just FYI, the image is intentionally dark as I was trying a technique called "midnight sepia".

The soft effect is partially a result of the midnight sepia in photoshop.
It doesn't look pixelated from enlarging it beyond 100%, and I don't think thats what he did.
It is in focus, the image has just been softened.
