official basketball team photographer..advise please

I have the opportunity to become an official pro basketball team photographer....Not NBA, but minor league basketball if thats what its called. I would be shooting photos at the games, and all the team photos including dance and cheerleader squads. Has anyone ever done this? what is the average that you charge?

I'm not sure of what league or team your shooting for. Most minor league teams...especially in basketball, run on shoestring budgets and usually trade services for advertising or tickets...but if you get a good job out of it, that would be awesome...
