Shot this on Sunday. Processed using gmitchel's sharpening action. Thank
you very much for this cool tool, Mr. Mitchell.
Frame by NVR Bordermania.
Opinions are welcomed and encouraged, as always.

I like the picture but the frame doesn't do it for me with this subject.

Yup. Exactly.
Composition is nice. Maybe a little darker, more contrast...

Darn. I didn't realize a frame constitutes part of the picture, too. I'll
try something different next time and try to make it fit the theme of the
picture.
Thanks for the insight.

Rick,
My eye followed the opening through the water, between the dead tree trunks, across the open lake, all the way to the trees on the other side, and found .....nothing.
This picture has everything but a point of interest, I was dissapointed to find that my visual journey had ended.
A old photographer told me,"If you turn the picture upside down, then look at it, your eye will still go to the point of interest".
Thanks for the look,
Dave

No offense taken or given here, DAMphyne, but from my experience on these
forums I can tell you for sure that what you consider a point of interest others will consider a distraction. Soooooo, I stand by the shot as taken.
Thanks for contributing.

Don't have any problem with no point of interest. Seems I've seen many very nice landscape shots without a point of interest per se. Entire photo showing nature of swamp, lake, whatever is of interest.
Would agree with first couple of posts that frame does not add anything for me but rather is a distraction.
