This was my first attempt at the bulb setting—I just bought my XT Saturday. I only had to wait 45 minutes for these two cars to pass:rolleyes:.
Note: I was stuck in my bedroom to do these shots; that's why the angle isn't the best and trees are in the way.

TBH that picture is really tame and boring. You need to do some PP and editing.

Would you mind going into detail? I can accept criticism—I have to—but, you need to go into detail if you're going to tell me it's tame and boring. What makes it tame and boring? The composition? The setting? "PP and editing" doesn't help me much.
Thanks

Would you mind going into detail? Ferosso, you put your 2 cents in, so now let's have a nice, detailed critique?
I only had to wait 45 minutes ...10PM in Millersville reminds me of my home town! :D

That would look great a little bit tighter of a crop!
I totally see that as a book cover of sorts so maybe try and get yourself a ton of shots with the theme "sleepless nights" and put a book together on blurb.com or some other coffee book site!
I would buy one! There is a lot of potential with your theme!

PhotosGuy:
At 10PM in Millersville there isn't much to do. It drives me nuts sometimes, but I guess I should be happy that I live in a quiet town.

That's a great idea. I never thought of putting a small book together, but that would be a great project. Once I get better at taking photos with my XT, I think I'll give blurb.com a shot!

Sounds like a plan. Don't just limit it to car lights and long exposures. Get into it!
I can't wait to see the results!

I like it except for the 2 lights above the words. I also have mixed feelings about the slant of the black on the right.

The slant on the right is a tree. I asked it to move for the photo, but it wouldn't.

haha. Yeah I am not sure if I mentioned it before but do a tighter crop and see how that looks. I think you will be happy with the results.

Don't you hate it when nature won't cooperate? :)
FWIW, I second MichaelAlan's suggestion
