Input on this shot is appreciated. Shot in semi-idiot mode (P) with a quick composition before it fluttered off.

Nothing wrong with focus and exposure, but the interesting part of the shot is the dragon fly. It's just too small to make a good shot. Try a tighter crop for starters or move in closer next time.

I kind of like it. Maybe if you cropped into (or just past) the rock in the middle-left?

Great effort. You composition is spot on, using the "rule of thirds" and placing the DF on the lower right power point. Unfortunately there is just a little too much background.
Try cropping left and top a little keeping the ratio the same. (In PS using the crop tool - drag the cop tool to cover the entire frame, then grab the top left corner and press the shift key as you drag, this will keep the same aspect ratio). Sorry if you knew that :)
