While I was out today at Fredrick Meijer's Garden getting some sample shots for the review of the Kodak DX 7440 camera, I took some shots with my rebel, this is one particular shot I liked from today off my Digital Rebel.

Shutter : 1/125th
Aperture : f/10
ISO : 100
Focal Length : 135mm ( the Canon 28-135 IS USM at full tele )

And this one is a near 100% crop for composition (its like a 95% crop or something cuz i wanted it 600x400 but still containing that area )

I like the top one but would crop just a bit tighter. I'd still be a flower & bee pic then. The 2nd one is a bee pic (which is OK) but it's just a little overwhelming to me. I like insect pics, but when you can count the hairs on their back, it becomes a 'textbook illustration' & not a nature pic to me.
I might try to brighten them just a bit. Isn't the natural color of the flower a lighter yellow?
