is a property release needed?

Hey all,
I plan on selling prints at an upcoming art festival and have images of specific buidlings in our town. Is a property release needed to sell these prints? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Highly unlikely. According to the letter of the law you should have a release from identifiable corporate entities. This is not enforced anywhere that I have seen. If you try to submit images to a stock site and there is identifiable logos, names, etc. they will ask you to get a release. If you are selling at a local fair I wouldn't worry about it. If you are really unsure and want a definitive answer then you should consult a lawyer.
