Canon Speedlites - going to sleep?

hey all,
maybe I missed this in the manual but when I'm shooting my two flashes wirelessly via ebay triggers they shut off after 30 seconds or so of inactivity. I then have to keep running over and turning them off and on. I'm sure there is a solution for that one, anyone care to enlighten?

Not knowing what you have, the 430EX has a custom function to disable the auto-off.

C.Fn-01 Auto Power Off activation
0=On
1=Off <------ select this one.

My 550ex has two positions for the on switch. All the way to the right and they turn off after a set time. First position they stay on (or vice versa can't remember which). Check that out if the custom function doesn't work
