Hi , i'm new on this forum and actually on the world of photography, i just bought a week ago an A-550 and i have problems with the fast shuttering because I can't program it manualy, for example when I activate the flash the shutter speed goes 1/60 and with some scene settings the shutter speed lowers a little bit. My doubt is that if you can set the shutter speed to the slowest time (1/2000) manually?
pd: sorry for my english , i'm from a foriegn country

1/2000 is actually the fastest time. When you're using flash, unless you have a very slow (1/15 second or slower, down to 15 sec.) or very bright ambient (normal, not flash) light for the scene, the flash controls the exposure time, and the flash gives a very short burst of light, typically even shorter than 1/2000 sec., so even with the camera at 1/60 sec., the picture's getting exposed for much less than that.
