All are nice but getting a nice pose from the pair of Kingbirds has to be 100 times harder than a single subject. Well done.

I'm not sure about getting pairs to pose is all that difficult, Some single subjects can be a lot more difficult.

Thanks Nancy

The light was wrong for the Raccoons, but I liked the scene.

A another nice set Gary and the Green Heron works especially nice for me with him being out in the open with that great BG. The racoon shot is nice but it makes me wonder when a mother sends the kids accross the road ........before her. Probably a natural instinct.

Wow! All of these are really good shots. The Heron is especially nice with that silky background, and the Kingbirds look stellar. Great work.

Thanks Gary

I had to get a Low angle to the Heron to get the BG. The Raccoon were all over sometimes she led and other times they ran in front of her.

I am really jealous of that redhead. There is one around, but he's more skittish than an Ivory Billed Woodpecker. :)

You know I always like your RHWP captures...and I do like this one as well. But its top spot tonight has been displaced by your "stacked" Kingbirds. The composition, poses, BG and detail are wonderful. I really like the bandits on the run shot as well. Nice captures. Great work.

Can't believe I overlooked the "Green". Geez, I'm getting old. Beautiful pose. Nice , clean and crisp capture. But I still like the Kingbirds.

Hey Coop

Thanks for the comments

Light was on the wrong side of the Raccoons but I just had to take the shot.

Excellent shots, sharp with nice detail and compositions. :-) ...p.s. I like all of them equally, not just the woodpecker ;-)
