I went to Stonehenge for the first time this weekend, armed with my brand new 16-35mm lens I managed to get these shots. I was also using a new graduated filter, and having never used one before I think I've overkilled it - but hey I like the way the sky fades to black. I also used my 70-200 for the close-up shot of the graffiti. Big pics on my flickr... http://www.flickr.com/photos/keira76

Did you go inside the barrier for the close up shot of the graffiti?

I like the sky fading to black, but the fade isn't very smooth and I'd prefer the clouds not to have gone grey next to the black sky.

Nice shots, only thing i would say is all seem a little over exposed in teh forgroud, with the sky perfect. Maybe just my eyes not working properly today

Great sky in #2 - not sure about the blackness at the top though.

I would try burning the stones in the last one and clone out the people on the left.

Nice shots! I like the contrast but I do have to agree about not liking the black sky in #1 & #2.

I agree with the black sky comments. But hey, you gotta get out there and practice with new lens/filters. Keep them coming!

2 and 4 for me please. A bit over-filtered on the top as others said.
