This weekend's theme is Noise. The subject should be open for interesting interpretations.
The usual rules apply:
- take photos from sunup Friday until sundown Sunday
- post photos by Monday or when you have time
- usual forum rules for image posting apply which means max 800 pixels on longest side and max 2 attachments
Have fun.

Nice subject, Tommy. We're off to Silverstone on sunday, so I'm sure there's going to be some noise going on there...

And you got the same idea I had behind choosing noise as theme.
Here is my contribution.
Imagine the noise level coming from long rows of beautifull Ferrari's  This was from a parade where children got a ride in Ferrai's on the track. (I don't know if it just were the owners children or other peoples children - it certainly would be nice if it was the latter).

There's nothing quite like the noise of a Ferrari, is there Tommy? Great shots there, shame about the obviously harsh lighting.
I had a good day today at Silvertone, took about 270 shots in the end (mostly track shots, so fairly boring). The CP saved lots of shots, I'm sure.
Anyhow. These speakers are in a boot (trunk) of a car, I bet they'd make a racket with the wrong kind of music. Nice shape to these, I like the look of them.

This crow landed on the end of one of these speakers. Makes you wonder how loud a crow on a megaphone would be!!

Been MIA the past few WWPD's was happy to get some shots for this weekend. Will say I have enjoyed seeing everyone's pictures this weekend and those weekends I missed. Well done all of you.
First if you have ever been around one of these running you know the familiar Putt Putt noise they make:

Add two hay racks full of youngsters and the noise increases 10 fold at least:

Wonderful shots so far. Ferraris, subwoofers, crows, and tractors. Sounds like a country song.
Anyway, I had some obligations this wekend but luckily I was able to take some shots that fit the theme. Both shots were taken with high ISO so they have some noise but the real noise came from the subjects. The first is of my daughter at a friends birthday party. It was at a gymnastics center where the kids got to run around and play of all kinds of different equipment. She had a blast.

The second is of a player on a mens slow-pitch softball team. I shoot for the league and thought this guy not only looked loud but as seen here was quite vocal.

Great intrepretations so far folks.
Montreal hosted it's first NASCAR event this weekend and they had the FORD Racing Team showing off on Crescent Street.
Bet this GT would make some NOISE when it was fired up

Went for a drive on Saturday and found this Church (St John the Evangelist in the Wildwood) where the only NOISE was the chirping of the birds.

Nice variety of interpretations this week.
It was too hot this weekend to attend any events. But I did sneak out to grab a few groceries and passed this along the way.

My favorite indoor noisemakers -- sax reeds.

We took our kids and their cousins to a local theme park this weekend. Here they are making a lot of noise on one of the rides...

... mainly because they could see what was going to happen - which also made them noisy (and wet ;))

Those log rides are always a conundrum to decide wether to go on it or not. You know you'll enjoy it, but you also know you'll get soaked! Looks like you chose the right option there, protect the camera at all costs!!

Any ideas for this weekend?
I propose "the colour green" (since that's what I see right now out the window)

Good pictures and some great interpretations all.
I agree about the log flume, Pete. I don't know if they've made any changes to it recently, but the final drop was soaking everybody. Earlier in the year it had not seemed so bad...

Later this afternoon, when some of the other regulars come online. Maybe someone else has a better idea.

OK with me. I plan to shoot regardless of theme, so whatever you guys and gals decide is fine with me.
