I would like to buy a middle of the pack CPL, not to expensive but also not cheap, just right in the middle. What would be my best choice I was told that B+W are a good choice but their are so many to choose from.

B+W is at the higher end. One of the multi-coated Hoyas should do just fine.

B+W MRC circular. You don't need a slim one. 67 mm and just a polarizer, not warming or anything like that. Kaesemann's cost more but are better suited for wet and/or humid conditions. I use the regular ones, not Kaesemann. Some places (B&H is one) bill the B+W multicoated CPL as "MC", but the box and filter you get say "MRC".

Good advice, Jon.

BTW, you don't want to go with a "middle of the road" CPL for this lens. It has great glass and it makes no sense to put mediocre glass in front of it.

Also, you need to make sure that you get MRC coated filters or you will have more problems with flare and loss of contrast.
