I would appreciate comments on this. My wife thinks I am crazy for taking a picture of someone I don't know. I tried to explain the candid thing but she didn't seem to grasp the concept :shock: .

Anyway your comments would be appreciated.

Tell your wife she's missing much of the fun of photography. Of course,
the real skill of a candid shot, IMO, is to get more face and less butt. That
goes for Thinkers, too. It'd be a great comical candid if the guy's drawers were split.

Think of how many people there are in the world that you don't know but might someday want to photograph -- do you really want to limit yourself like that? :wink:

I think it's a cool photo. The lake background is very peaceful and the fellow does indeed look very contemplative.

i always photograph people and they don't know.... but this guys draws are comical on their own :lol:
