Well i finally have the set up i have always wanted..i took some pics just a min ago..there not to bad for 1st attempt i know this lens is a bitch to master,i can see why they say that,..using with out a tripod is hard when your past 1:1 life size so im still getting use to it..i would love to hear your view on the pics as in.

I would like to thank lordv for his help on choosing the right supplier and kerso for shipping my goods out the very next day..

So i posted a few pics.all these pics are in my flick gallery with the settings i used at the time of the shot.

What im doing wrong and how can i make my pics better?
what spider is that im shooting?

All good- just need to work on focus plus what aperture you are going to use- I'd guess the hover and bee shots are at F16 so look slightly soft because of diffaction softening.

Great first shots with the lens :) I don't think they are OOF, but more like camera shake to me. A pole might be a good idea given what Brian V. can acheive with it ;)

Last two are the best, but they are all good for your first attempt.
I would say the higher the mag you go the more critical movement becomes.
