Does anyone use these Tricoast actions or the instructional DVD they offer?
Any reviews on these would be great.

Mike Fulton's around... so maybe he can put your mind at ease. But, I've yet to hear anyone express any regrets. They're pretty widely loved. Of course, Mike is so lovable who would complain... ;o)

Anyone know if these are compatible with CS3?

Thanks!

Thanks *Mike* for the nice words!

And yes they are compatible with CS2 and CS3

More information can be found on our product website www.FindingColor.com however I am still working on the site so forgive me for the errors on the page!

Please ask me if you have any questions I will help you out anyway I can. I do not want to be one of those national speakers who say, hey thats nice but buy the DVD to find out the answer. I want to help out anyway I can, the DVD's are just there for review and to help you remember if you do hear me speak.

No problem and truly I love sharing information and knowledge. If I had something like this when I started out it would have jumpped start my business by years. At least that was my goal when I developed the Processing DVD.

Roughly it is over 2 hours of screen capture video of me processing the actual images. So you see me working in Photoshop and Bridge (CS2 version) and all the while I am talking telling you what I am doing, what I was thinking when this image was capture and what I was thinking on why I am processing the image as I am.

From simple Black and White conversions to detailed layer masks changing the entire image to even bringing some trash image out of the darkness to award winning images, you see every step of what I do and how and I do it and why I do it.

Simply put NO SECRETS on this DVD you see me actually processing the images as I process them, my mistakes, my errors and me correcting them and of course the final product.

There is a short video on how I use layer masks if you do not know how to use them and learning my termology I use throughout the video on them and one of how I use the Finding Color actions. Besides that it is all images from straight out of the camera to processed image.

Hope this information helps, I am out the door to KY to teach a workshop for the week so if you have more questions I will answer them I just might be a little slower in responding.

P.S. The shopping cart on the www.FindingColor.com site should be active now for the basic product line, I am adding more products in the future but with all my travels I have not had time.

Cool. Glad to hear that they are compatible with CS3.

Just ordered the actions and was hoping there would be a download link after the order process.

Anyway to get the download vs. waiting for a delivery option?

Needless to say, looking forward to blending these into my current workflow.

Thanks!

We are working on getting the actions an auto download when purchased. I can send you a link to download them ASAP but I have to do it manually for the time being.

Again I am still working on the site, the bugs should be worked out soon!

Sorry :(

No problem. By the looks of things, it appears that you and the other folks at Tri-Coast have your hands in a few things.

I'll appreciate the link when I get it, but no pressure on my end.

Have fun in KY!
