I have been photoblogging for over a year already, and I'm wondering if there is any other photobloggers in this forum. I try to post new photos to my site every day, but it has been getting more and more difficult recently... I find it hard to find new and interesting subjects. On one hand I don't want to post boring pictures, on the other hand I want my visitors to see new stuff every visit.

Anyone here has similar experiences to share?

I don't have one, but that sounds like a great idea. It would definitely force me to shoot, more often than I do.

Let's see... going out shooting vs. typing with two fingers... I feel so conflicted!

Photoblogging is like a photographic journal. You take pictures of anything related to your life every day and post the pics to a chronological web log. You can visit my website for an example, or at http://www.photoblogs.org

I once saw a series of pictures where a guy took a photo of himself every half-hour for at least a couple weeks. That involved setting his alarm to wake himself up every half-hour through the night. That takes a type of dedication that I don't have.

I think photoblogging should be phlogging ;-)

Ken! You're still doing 'wet' processing? Good for you! B&W is tough to do right - you don't have the color element to save you're *ss.
I liked your work. The flowers are especially nice. You might consider lightly burning in the corners of the pics to help focus attention on the subject.

Suggestion: do a search for '2475 recording film'. It's been around for over 35 years & will give you some interesting results. This is a scan from a slide of a print - I really need to do a direct digital copy one of these days...

Cool! I'll order a few rolls when I get my next batch of B&W film from B&H. I do B&W and medium format (Mamiya 6) as a way to remove myself from the immediacy of the Digital process... I never did my own development before, and just got into it last summer. I'm getting a kick out of it.

Here's one of my favorite B&W images (shot last fall with a Leica CL on XP2 Super):

I like the Fall pic, but did you notice that all the trees are leaning to the left?

Definitely a political statement...

Calipers do not lie. They leave that to politicians! (Who tend to lean in different directions on different days of the week).

Well, I’m glad I got that out of my system!

Well, because they're in black and white, they aren't "pinko commie trees... "

It's funny--I didn't notice the lean much until you pointed it out...
