Don't know if this got posted yet, but Canon is offering rebates on a lot of there products until July 31

I still haven't gotten my rebate from the last time, and I don't expect it any more. Dealing with that ridiculous company that runs it was insane. I was twice told that they weren't handling the Canon rebates - yet I had 7 other emails stating they did. I sent them proof of receipt, and they ignored it.

Maybe I just got unlucky, but next time I'll make photocopies of everything just in case. I'm out $180 - photocopies might have gotten me the refund.

I'm wondering if they changed the procedure in some way - I've applied for 3 rebates, have gotten 2 and the third (and most recent) is being processed now. The same company handled the rebate for my PNA memory card without any hassles.

I am a weak 1 out of 2 with my Canon rebates. The first was for a 420ex flash...only $15 but they emailed me saying that there are currently no rebates on the item I purchased, the Rebel 2000. What? I didn't buy that OR send in info for that. Very wrong. Never got the refund.

Second time for the 17-40mm....never got an email (like they say you will) but I got the check in about three weeks. Pretty quick and easy that time. Often times rebates are so slow that by the time you get them you have plumb forgotton all about it or you never get it and remember 8 months down the road.
