how to copy right my work and what will it cost me?

i think im at that stage now where i need to start copywriting my work as i post on a few forums...how do i go about doing this?and do u know what its ging to cost..

so sorry...im in the uk,.what do u make of this?im lost when it comes to this stuff.i post alot of my work and im in prosess of doing few other things that makes me think i need copyright on the pics.
