A question for the mods about..well....modding!

Hey there all you moderators. I have a question maybe you guys can help me with. For the first time, I've found the need to adjust some info in someone's profile on the forum I mod on (also vbulletin, same format). Now here's the question. I can view and change people's info in the vbulletin mod control panel, but I can't seem to save those changes. Care to give me a hand?

I've searched vbulletin for some info, but can't seem to find it. I'm told I have all necessary powers to do so, but don't know how!

Only admins can change profile info, mods can only view it.

Profile info? Like what? Cause I can change sigs and other things and I'm a mod. If it's like the view profile link, never tried, but if not...then, you should unless there are more restrictions. But like i said, never tried. Changed people's sig as a joke and title.

I was wondering, do MODS have day jobs? If so how difficult is it to MOD?

I suspect the pay for mods on POTN isn't quite enough to live on...

It's very rare on any forums of any kind to get paid to mod. It's a labour of love.

Yeah...who thinks modding is actually a paid job? Wow, be nice indeed.

You'd have to pay me to mod. It's a tough, thankless job that deals with a lot of unseen crap in the background. I used to own a site, I had a couple mods and it was a lot of work just for a small site. Nothing near as large as POTN.

Mod appreciation day is every day in my books.

I don't know if it's good or bad, but I have no idea who a mod is here except Pekka, Cyber Dyne, and...hm, just went blank on the third. Skip. Aniwho, i guess that's good meaning there aren't a lot of problems to mod.

That's for sure! All you have to do is look at their inventory and you know they're well off! Especially belmondo who must be paid a lot!
