Hi
Nice set of images that give a flavour of the event but the images where you seemed to have used flash has made the cars look (too) stationary. However, #2 #4 and #8 have the "action" in them and give me the impression of no flash used.
Thanks for sharing :)

It's now 192 lookers. To me they lack the atmosphere of Rallying.

Thanks for your comments Box Brownie, this is the second rally I have been to, there were five togs taking pics beside me all using flash, me being a novice thought this was the norm and followed suit:(Thanks for sharing :)

Khall, please explain what the atmosphere of Rallying entails:confused:this why I am trying to learn;)

You've got "big ones" for being on the outside of the turns for shots 1.3.4 and 5...
Really well done here...congrats.

Thanks Guys, FlyingPhotog;3707217, big ones is this a rally terminology, I take it that I should have shoot on the inside of the bend, as a novice I will take that on board;)

Umm, a Rally term? No. An anatomical term? Yes. Big Ones, Big Stones, Cojones, etc...
Generally speaking, unless you have a tree next to you behind which you can duck (immediately) if need be, you don't want to be on the outside of any race turn where there isn't a barricade of some kind (I belive you all it ARMCO?) and even then, you want to stay back off the wall some because race cars can move steel and/or concrete if they hit it hard enough.
Again, really top notch shots!!

I was going to suggest that you have look at the Neath Valley pictures, but then noticed that you had made a comment on that posting.
On that posting it has dust and rock's flying to me thats part of rallying granted your shots are not on dirt, but the car's also seem to have a much greater sense of urgency or action.
