triggering 2 430Ex

I have access to 2 430 EX and a speedlite transmitter, can I fire both the 430's and retain the ETTTL control

Yes, assuming your speedlite transmitter's a 550EX, 580EX, or ST-E2. Read the EOS bible linked from the forum FAQ for more info.
