Hi all. First post on these forums although have been an avid reader for a good while now.
I borrowed a friends 100-400L for the day and battled with the crowds and heat for some pics. Played around with different settings from sport mode, Aperture priority etc. Due to the excellent light I found Shutter priority worked well at about 1/250 to get some good motion blur but still keeping the bike sharp. What do you think?

Thanks for your comments everyone. There were enough good shots from the day to give me encouragement and I certainly learned a great deal. On top of all that the racing was excellent:lol:
