Can't choose! Help!

What to choose, between

Canon PowerShot SD850 IS (http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/specs/Canon/canon_sd850is.asp)
(Digital IXUS 950 IS) (http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/specs/Canon/canon_sd850is.asp)

and

Canon PowerShot G7 (http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/specs/Canon/canon_g7.asp)

I want to be able to take nice daily life shots while I also want it to be able to take pictures in water (like scuba diving). I think the occasion of my diving will be rarely too. What do you guys say? :)

How important is the camera size? There's a big difference in the size of those two. The SD850 is pocketable easily; the G7, not except with cargo pants.

How important is the camera's reach? The G7 zooms about 50% longer than the SD850.

You can get underwater housings for both of them, I believe.

So besides these two differences, the size and the zoom, there aren't any significant difference between the two right? This means I have to give up the zoom and take the smaller one. ^^ Thanks Jon

Well, the G7 lets the user have much more control (you can set aperture and shutter speed directly for instance) and takes an external flash. But if it's too big, it won't be with you.
