Just got around to processing my images from Saturday Practice at the World Superbike meeting. I only managed to get to 2 corners (the heat was getting to me!)
Taken with:-
Canon EOS 1D MKIII, Canon 300mm f/2.8 IS, 1.4x or 2.0x Extender.

Great camera and lenses but excellent photos too !
I really like #1 it looks like you were shooting at the road level !
I would curious to know the speed and aperture you used for #4 , every time i try something like this the dof is not wide enough. Brillant photos.

Excellent pictures Nick but my favourite has got to be number 4 of Haga,seems your MKIII A/F is working great mine looks as if it has taken a turn for the worse since upgrading to the latest firmware.
Had a look at your website aswell and there are some stunning shots that would not look out of place in a mag.
All the best

Thanks Pat, I actually was on a high bank shooting through a fence but the way the lay of the land is and the camber of the track I guess gives that impression, the shutter and aperture is:-
F/9
1/1250th
@420mm

Hi Glen,
Thanks, Sorry to hear you are having problems with the new firmware, seems that some people have had problems with the new firmware and have reset custom settings back to defaults which has fixed problem? I've been a way from the web for a few days so I haven't been keeping up to date with the AF issues.
I did have a few problems with the AF when shooting at Druids through a chain links fence, I had to keep pumping the AF-ON button to make the camera refocus, I had a similar problem at Donington as well. I put this down to the camera trying to focus on the fence? hope that's what it is anyway.
Thanks for looking at my gallery, early days yet on the SBK Brands lots more to come.
Cheers

Thanks Nick for this answer. I was also wondering on which side of the fence you were , now I know. # 1 is also my favorite.
