Joining AVI movies

As you know, the length of movie recording is very limited.
Last weekend I took 5 movies in a row on my Ixus v and would like to now join them to make one longer movie!!

Is there an easy way of doing this???

You should be able to do that with the Video Impressions software that came with your camera. It's not a great editing program, but it should serve your needs.

Since Canon uses the M-JPEG avi codec, others have noted problems viewing the movies with some editing programs.

I think there's a freeware program called Peck's Power Join that will join a collection of AVI files...
