For the last several days the index page has not refreshed. The same information is showing up in the "Latest Post" column, and July 18 is the last date the information has updated itself.
This is just on my Gateway notebook. The desktop PCs are working fine.
Any thoughts?

//scratches head..
It's not the forum itself.. gotta be a browser cookie thing on the laptop.
What happens when you clisk the "view posts since last visit" link? does that give you honest results?
Two things you could try.. no promises..
1. Using the laptop.. actually "sign out" of the forum.. this will force you to "sign in" again so make sure you have your user name and password handy. This does some stuff to the "cookie".. (I know waaaay to technical.. "stuff")
2. You could also try actually going into your browser settings and clear all cookies... which will mean you will have to manually re-sign in on any site you visit.. etc..
Nothing guaranteed... but that's the first thing I'd do were it my PC giving me the hassles.

What's interesting about it is that I have the forum index page as my home page (the little house on the toolbar). When I click that, I get the week-old index page. If I hit the refresh button, it updates. If I close explorer, it opens to the old page. Weird.
I'll try logging out and then back in again.
Thanks,
Tom

Ahhh.. check to see hwat the actual url is of your home page..
it should be this;
http://photography-on-the.net/forum/index.php
...without anything else after it.. if there is other stuff after it.. like this
http://photography-on-the.net/forum/posting.php?mode=reply&t=37391
then it may be referenceing the specific point in time of the database.... (now I'm literally making "stuff" up as I go along..)

CDS. Your suggestion to log off and back on was inspired. That cleared it up beautifully.
The index updates as it should now.
Thank you, thank you.
