Realistic? That is a little harsh. If you don't want to use a credit card then this is your realism, not the entire rest of the world's. Their payment options cover 99.9999% of the people who can afford to buy a book.

Can't you buy one time use credit cards now? I thought they were advertised on the TV.
Oh by the way Scottes, I just went ahead and bit the bullet and paid full price.
I'd buy mine even if I had to mail them a paper check and wait for it to clear the bank.
Everyone I've shown the book to has loved the pictures. Just wish they were bigger.

I dont really understand the mindset that means that this is cast in stone like it seems to be, theres images shared every single day in the current forum along with lots of other info so whether the forum is a sub forum of Photo Sharing or Sharing Knowhow is irrelevant imo .. as I pointed out previously its not even like every single sub forum in the Photo Sharing forum has a section in the boom.

Anyway never mind weve already been told exactly how it is in the wedding forum so I think now weve not been invited to the party twice were gonna have a bash at our own book instead and leave you guys to it.

Youve created a great model for producing a book from the community and I hope version II is as succesful as version I and I also hope we can use the structure in the same way to create something more relevant to all the people that frequent the wedding forum.

This was discussed in a very open thread available to all members well over a year ago, and the sections of that book were chosen at that time. This was discussed again for Volume 2 in another public thread again open to all members of POTN. This thread was started 4 months ago.

It's too late to change it now, so it certainly is cast in stone for Volume 2.

If you wish to get this policy changed for Volume 3 please be sure to watch for such threads in the POTN Members Activities forum where these discussions take place.

I finally got my hands on the book. I always wanted to buy it but never had 40 dollars handy, but my parents bought it for me for Christmas. It's AMAZING. Every photo is great, and I love showing it to photographers and non photographers alike; they all love it.
