I'm hoping all you gear experts can help me pick a new camera bag - right now I just have a cheapo Walmart case for my XT, and my 100-300 has a little lens case, and my 50/1.8 lives in the box in came in unless I'm using it. I'd like something to keep it all together.

So...it needs to fit the XT w/kit lens, 50/1.8, and a 100-300. I'm hoping to get a 430ex soon as well. Maybe room for another lens hopefully in my future. I don't want something really huge - if i end up getting a lot more gear someday, I will just buy a different bag.

Suggestions? I'm looking at Amazon right now and considering something like the Canon 200EG or Tamrac 5273 Expedition 3. My budget is $100 or less. Thanks sooo much!

I've got a tamrac expedition 4 which I think is a great bag. I'm not sure what size the 100-300 is but I can get my 30D in whith the 100-400 attached and have room for the other 3 lenses I've got.

I can recommend tamrac stuff as it seems to have the build quality of Lowealpine without the price tag. I've also got a velocity 9 which I use alot, I'm sure you would get all of your kit in. Check it out http://www.tamrac.com/

I have the SlingShot 200aw from LowePRO and I just love it. It can pack qute a bit and it's a backpack/over the sholder under the belly type of a bag. I think it is quite good.

I also have an expedition 4, but I think it may be a bit big for you. Maybe the expedition 3? Best advice is to throw it into a plastic bag and head down to the local camera store!
