It would have been nice to be able to really see the eyes of the owl. I don't think you could get any closer to your subject. Thanks for sharing.

I was a bit dissapointed tbh with dof, and focus is slightly out. It was all a bit of a rush, didn't even have my camera out, was in tv mode also, doh:oops:

Good pic. You can put it in photoshop and do a shadow/highlight on it to make the eyes come out.
