Hello all,
I just got back from another wonderful trip to Prague CZ. This photo is one of my favorites from the trip and I would love to hear your opinions on it. Please don't be shy. Take care, David

Great looking girl! But...
In a product shot, the product (bottle) MUST be straight! (It's the clients "Baby" & you don't mess with anyones baby!
Put a splash of liquid in the glass.
Get rid of the box of matches. (Association with non PC smoking habit, unless you're a big fan of "Subliminal Advertizing" , much about which was written years ago.
Why the corkscrew? The bottle has a twist-cap!
Not a big thing, but I'm bothered wondering just what she's holding? It takes my attention away from the product, & we can't have that!
Better yet, get rid of all that junk & lets see more of the girl!
Oh, & did you say "Hi" to my relatives in CZ?

I agree with every thing that PhotosGuy said, and I would just retierate, YES the shot needs straightening!
In addition, why not try a version with liquid in the glass (as stated above) but ALSO with lipstick marks on the glass as well, with both her lips and the lipstick marks in red. Yes, I know, that would be another color in the shot, and might detract from the gold of the liquor, but still, I bet it would work.

I appreciate all of your comments. I agree that the bottle should be straight. The matches are part of drinking Absinth, which is alleged to have halucinogenic qualities and of having contributed to Van Go cutting his ear off. She is holding an Absinth spoon. There are two ways of drinking this beverage: First you place the spoon over the glass with a suger cube on it. Then you poor the Absinth over the suger and into the glass. The second is a bit more complicated. You dip a suger cube in the Absinth then place it on the spoon which is on the glass. You set the suger cube on fire and allow it to melt into the glass, stir and drink. So maybe I should have substituted suger cubes for the cork screw, which was on hand and thrown in for no particular reason.

Isn't it amazing what some people will invent just to get a drink? van Goh probably cut his ear off out of frustration trying to remember in which order to do everything!

Fun shot and one of life's few excuses to use the old quote: "Absinth makes the heart grow fonder."
Cheers,

Chris... you're only groaning because 1) you've heard it, or 2) you know you'll remember it and use it.
I suppose #2 is worth a groan... so save it for the nursing home porch... they'll love it.

Why using red lipstick. A quick idea (I know it's not perfect but ...)

I love what you've done with the glass, but think the lipstick is over the top.

And I always thought Absinth was green
Other than that, I like the shot and agree with everyone's suggestions
Best regards,
Andy
