Heck its the worst thing that can happen :lol:

Ok it dosnt jump out at you and say WOW. Its not a "bad" photo
What Post processing have you done to it?

In landscapes often you have so much visual input but you need to focus on what it is about the scene that has caused you to want to take the photo.
As viewers we wernt there so it is the photographers job to create a photo that makes us want to be there or experence something that you felt.

I just liked the light of the sunset, and the people just on the beach. though in the original I think slight more detail so easy to see the fishing rod, and colors of wind break etc.
But as you said to anyone else it does not mean anything, hence no comments, So I guess not a great photo, just more of a meaning to me
PP was just usual, resize a bit, contrast, brightness, color saturation a bit, and small amount of USM.
As I said I have never really done anything with Landscapes before, not a PS expert

Keep posting there is a sticky on landscape photography tips.

I shutter when I see my first posted landscapes. But people pointed me in the right direction and I got there. PP was the same. All takes time and practise.

Keep it up

I think what you need to do is sort of set up the shot and tell a small story about it. You briefly state what you did and this in turn got no replies. I think this has potential for being a good shot and you can tell that it can ge be great. What I do is get to the place you want to go to a bit early. Look around and see what catches your eye. If nothing catches your eye right away move on to the next spot and do the same thing. Just from this scene alone, it looks like the lighthouse could be a potential spot for a good sunset. Or even a good sunrise. The one thing that really counts is that you know what you want to shoot. I gotta be honest with ya, I don't always get that "WOW" shot all the time, but I keep trying. This is just some advice from my own experiences. Once, you learn by shooting and posting, your skill will grow. POTN is a good forum to do that, so keep posting. Peace!

Hi MaDProFF;

Don't take it personally!

There are so many posts now, it's impossible to review all, and make meaningful comment as well...

I still can't figure out what attracts posts & reviews to some shots... I have put stuff up that I think is worthy, only to find it gets no reviews, while other posts that do nothing for me get plenty of reviews...

C'est la vie...

I do think that a lot of it is in the title of the post; and your "Took this the other day" is not exactly a "puller"!

Anyhow, to the shot itself; took me a little while to figure out what I was looking at, which may be why the comments were few & far between...

Boy was it HOT on Sunday! Yipppeeee :cool:

Cheers;

Lee
