the £812 I paid for my 300D plus 128MB card translates to 1378.28 of your US Dollars :( enough for a 10D if I'm not mistaaken :(:(:(

yeh i snatched this deal couple days ago. I got the kit, plus 512mb high speed CF card, large carrying case, extra battery, and cleaning kit for 1000 including shipping. If anyone is interested, I can find the links to a number of places that have this same deal going on ...

This is a good link to compare the different prices. Make sure you actually click on the different links to see what exactly it is they are offering for the prices shown. Many of these sites have accessories kits that you can purchase on top of the actually Rebel Kit. The accessories kit that I purchased included a carrying case, extra battery, cleaning kit, and 512 mb CF card.

I don't think so. My personal preference is to buy one, but that was also when the camera was at $999. Now that it has dropped 200 and the camera already comes with a 1 year warranty, it becomes harder to justify. I just asked because I saw that buydig.com sells a 5 year Mack warranty for $79. So I figured I would ask if people have bought it.
