I really like them. The shots of the drivers are excellent.

The car shots are OK. I would prefer either a faster shutter to absolutely freeze them, or a slower and pan more. Look in the top magazines and compare your shots to the ones they publish.
The shots of the drivers leave me cold -- cropped too tight -- no emotions -- not at all interested.

Your website is excellent ! I would have picked a few more from there, some stunning images. I'm not really into the b&w portraits of the drivers, however the shot of Solberg on your site is brilliant ...........

Thanks for the comments guys.

Like any form of art, I guess photography is subjective .... what one person likes another may hate.

Hi jbanbury
now that is a TOP SHOT -- that is how it should be done! Give yourself a medal.

That last panning shot is very slick! Definitely an awesome job for that one! And to be honest, I actually really like the B & W shots of drivers ... everything is taken away except for the actual driver. Personally, I really like the tight crop shots as well. Nicely done.

Sweeet shot!
Unless there is lot of detail to be seen by freezing a shot, like tons of dirt and stuff flying, I much more prefer panning shots that show the motion and fluidity of the event. Nice shot again.

jbanbury:

Major kudos for the variety of your shots. The excellent pans, Great B&W driver shots and the freeze-frames per request.

Variety is the spice of life and you've captured the variety of Rally Racing very well. Nice drama. Nice action.

Three thumbs up!!!!
