I saw a post on here that had either an action or preset of some kind that simulates saturation etc. of Fuji Velvia. Can someone point me back to that, I can't seem to find it.

Randall,

Your cousin Rip was said to have slept for 20 years before he awoke on July 5th a few years ago.

Thanks for getting back to us a little sooner.

There's a free Velvia-Provia action here:

http://www.atncentral.com/download.htm

Scroll down about halfway through the page. Works very nice and is fully adjustable

Does it do something other than increase the saturation?

I haven't tried the Fred Miranda one, but I downloaded a velvia/provia action from http://www.atncentral.com/download.htm and tested it. The image that I got after applying this action appeared to be just a little more saturated version of original image. Do the other products give better results?

A question for someone in the know about Velvia, what makes a Velvia a Velvia? I shot a lot of comsumer grade Fuji film and slides during my film days because I liked the greens and reds from the Fuji films a lot better than from the Kodaks. Is that the same with the Velvia or is there more to this slide film that gives it the "to strive for" look to it?

Thanks. :)

This is one of the main parts of my RAW Workflow, I couldn't live without this and also FM's Intellisharpen II. Just amazing!
